On his first day in office, as part of the new administration's pandemic response, President Biden urged all Americans to "mask up for my first 100 days."

100 Days/100 Masks responded by featuring 100 Americans from around the U.S. answering the question, "Why do you wear a mask?"

"Unmasking Broadway" rounds out the final days of this action. On March 12, 2020, Covid-19 safety restrictions forced New York theaters to close, shuttering an entire industry overnight and leaving over 90,000 unemployed.
